Hrm.

There's a student that moved to Middle School recently, and she's been intentionally broken up from her old friend group for concerns they were 'problem students', despite their grades being reasonable to ideal.

And I get the feeling, but no direct evidence, she's fallen into a bad crowd, despite the intention of separating her clique was to stop that in the first place.

Troublesome.

She's "Too strong", and have stated if she's signed up, the club will disband.

Okay, checking my notes again.

Some say 'she's too strong' and she'd bend the club to her just by being in it. Strong as a Duelist and strong as in Charisma, I think.

The others say she looks like a nerd and don't want nerd germs to geek up the club, and will disband to stay un-dweeb'd.

So yes. New hazing ritual. Question mark?

Surprised they think they can be so picky with who joins, considering there's a minimum number requirement to stay as a club.

Do you have a list of what clubs she attempted to join?

Occult Research Club. Rejected for being Queen.

Baseball Club. Rejected for being a nerd and fear she'd make the players need inhalers.

Kissing First Cousins Club (how is that a club). Rejected for being too powerful.

Retro Gaming Club for playing games that are 'too retro'.

The Going-Home Club for having a private driver.

Etc.

I think it's due to her reputation as a top ranking Duelist and popular kid in elementary school and a dramatic appearance shift in middle school.

Either case, purposeful exclusion of a student for flimsy excuses like "fear she'd make the players need inhalers" could be constituted as harassment, which could lead to worse issues depending on how her own family takes it, so it might need to be something I'll have to look into and speak with the representing instructors on.

Otherwise, maybe she should consider signing up for the volunteer committees...

More recent attempts have been turned down because she has 2 friends who terrify the clubs in question.
